Staff:

1Lt William Boyle, Deputy Commander for Cadets

C/2Lt Andrew Gutowski, Cadet Commander

The Civil Air Patrol (CAP) Cadet Program mission is: To provide Civil Air Patrol with aerospace oriented programs and curricula that enhance the leadership and life skills of all cadet members and to develop responsible citizens for the U.S. Air Force and the nation.

Following the recent change of command in the squadron's senior and cadet program, a new team is now in place, and several initiatives are in the planning stage. These activities include museum and event trips, plus possible squadron involvement in parades and other appropriate community events. You will be informed about them as soon as firm dates and other details have been established.

The Twin Pine Color Guard has been especially active. They spent a weekend practicing on a Bivouac and were inspected and trained by the USAF Color/Honor Guard from McGuire AFB.

In March they presented the Colors as a guest Honor Guard for an Eagle Scout ceremony at a Local Boy Scout troop. In April, they represented CAP at the 'Rally for the Troops' in Mercer County Park, for which they received a Certificate of Commendation from Sen. Peter Inverso. In May, they were the Color Guard for the opening ceremonies at a Trenton Thunder Baseball Game.
